Cornish books

I read the new book proper cornish Childhood the other day, written by the new up and coming Cornish writer Michael J Darracott, it gives a warm wonderful feeling of belonging, and of being at ease with ones family and surroundings. At times it makes you a little sad and makes you laugh, but above all its a tale of a little boy growing up in sixties Cornwall, a wonderful read.
I hope this writer makes it because the style of his writing is both warm and informative, I felt like I was there on the journey with him. A Proper Cornish childhood will be the starting place I feel for more books for this new Author.
